Mold Help Guide is a reference and referral site for mold remediation across the United States. We explain what the signs look like, how remediation works, and what the questions are worth asking before you book - then we connect you with a licensed local company. Mold Help Guide connects you with licensed local mold remediation companies. We are not a mold remediation contractor.
How does this site make money?
When we match you with a local company, that company pays us a referral fee. You pay us nothing, and the fee does not change the quote you are given.
Saying so plainly explains our bias, and we would rather you knew it: we earn when you get matched. What we do not earn on is how large the job turns out to be, which is why nothing here pushes you toward the bigger treatment.
Why are there no prices or health-effect figures on this site?
Because we have not sourced them yet. Our rule is that a fact appears on a page only when it is in that page’s research, with a named source and the date it was checked - and until that research exists for a figure, the figure does not go up.

This is the opposite of how most sites in this category read, and it is deliberate. A confident national average or health claim that depends on your specific situation is not information; it is decoration. What you get here instead is the list of things that decide your number, so you can read a real quote properly.
